CAMPUS NEWS
COMMENCEMENT 2008 INFORMATION
Due to severe thunder and lightning, and after thoughtful consideration in the interest of the safety of our students and their guests, Fullerton College made the decision to cancel its 94th annual Commencement Ceremony scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 22, 2008.
Those students who would like to take part in a traditional ceremony and receive individual recognition are invited to participate in next year’s formal ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, 2009. If you are interested, please contact the Student Affairs Department at (714) 992-7248 or at stuaff@fullcoll.edu.
Participating Fullerton College graduates who did not attend the Commencement reception may pick up a diploma cover, participation certificate, pin, and program from Student Affairs, located on the second floor of the College Center, between 8 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.
The entire Fullerton College community shares in the disappointment of not holding the Commencement ceremony as scheduled, but congratulates the graduates on earning their degrees and thanks them for their resilience in adjusting to the changes. Please accept our best wishes for continued success.
