Photography
Photographs of candid, genuine moments among students, staff, faculty and the community play a crucial role in visually communicating the story of Fullerton College. Photos are powerful marketing tools that amplify our mission and impact on the community.
Requests for Professional Photography
The Office of Campus Communications provides photography services to campus partners to:
- Document and promote select campus events and celebrations that cultivate community, student success and institutional excellence.
- Support presidential initiatives and the Fullerton College Strategic Plan.
- Generate evergreen, multipurpose and cross-media stock assets for internal and external communications, marketing and social media.
- Requests must generally serve a broad campus purpose and should not include staged, group or posed photos. Submit requests at least three weeks in advance. Please complete all required fields to the best of your ability. Requests submitted through this form take precedence over informal or verbal requests.
Upon submission, the Office of Campus Communications will review the request during its weekly editorial meeting. To request photography services, complete the communications approval and request form and provide the following:
- Event details: Date, time, location and duration.
- Atmosphere and activities: Describe the expected atmosphere, activities and types of interactions or engagement that will take place.
- Usage of photos: How the photos will be used after the event.
- Challenges and conditions: Identify any potential challenges or site-specific conditions (e.g., lighting, space).
- Agenda: Provide an agenda or run of show.
- Contact information: Name and contact information for the primary point of contact coordinating with the photographer.
Photo requests are evaluated individually by the Office of Campus Communications. Final decisions are based on stock image needs, team availability and the nature of the event. The office reserves the right to decline any request. For detailed guidance, review the Photo Services Policy.
Multimedia Image Release/Opt-Out Form
Fullerton College’s image use policy allows for interviews and the capture of photographs and video recordings of students and visitors on campus and at college-sponsored events for marketing, news and promotional purposes. These images may be used across various media platforms.
A signed release form may be required for:
- Students under the age of 18
Individuals to be used in high-visibility marketing pieces (front covers, banners, billboards, etc).
You may print and complete the paper image release form in English or in Spanish. Submit completed forms to the Office of Campus Communications located in Building 100.

Videography
Video combines moving imagery, authentic voices and motion graphics to create a powerful storytelling and communication medium. Our video content highlights campus life, programs and student achievements; promotes academic offerings; and markets the college to the community.
Requests for Professional Videography
We are not currently accepting video requests for event coverage.
The office may recommend a third-party video agency to support videography projects. Please note that the Office of Campus Communications does not engage its video agency for webinars, how-to videos or meeting recordings.
Submit a request if your department or division has funding available for video projects or if the project may be part of a larger campaign.
