ScholARSHIPS | PLANNED & CORPORATE GIVING

Fullerton College Foundation, Inc. exists to promote Fullerton College and enhance the lives of its students by raising and accepting resources for scholarships, grants, programmatic and institutional support. Scholarships are funded by individuals, businesses, corporations and private foundations. In keeping with the college’s mission to nurture successful learners, the Fullerton College Foundation is proud to offer an endowed scholarship program that enables students in nearly every field of study to achieve their educational goals.

CHRIS LAMM & TONI DEBOIS-WALKER MEMORIAL FOOD BANK

Food insecurity is a real and present struggle for many college students throughout the county. A recent Community College Equity Assessment Lab study found that 12.2 percent of community college students in California experienced food insecurity. Men were more likely to report this challenge at 15.4 percent in comparison to women at 8.7 percent. Fullerton College students who are struggling to find nutritional food and other resources to meet their needs are welcome to utilize the Chris Lamm & Toni DuBois-Walker Memorial Food Bank. Perishable and non- perishable goods are accepted.

FRIENDS OF THE FULLERTON COLLEGE LIBRARY

The mission of this volunteer-run non-profit organization established in 1994 is to foster understanding and appreciation of Fullerton College and its library, as well as provide occasions for community members to discover the cultural resources provided by the library and the college. Friends of the Fullerton College Library seeks bequests, gifts, used books and raises money for the purchase of library materials, equipment and other needs identified by the library staff.

THE CAREER CLOSET

Fullerton College Business Management Department maintains The Career Closet, which provides professional clothes to students in need. The Career Closet needs gently used, quality donations. Particularly, men’s dress shoes, women’s blouses and suits for both men and women are needed. The types of items regularly being sought are: suits, shirts, ties, socks, blouses, skirts, slacks, heels and jackets. Donations may be brought to the Business/CIS Division Office any time during normal hours of operation. For those interested in donating larger quantities of clothing, The Career Closet qualifies as a 501c3 charity. Please contact Kathy Standen at kstanden@fullcoll.edu with any questions.

ATHLETICS

With nearly 100 years of sports at Fullerton College, the Hornet Athletics Program is rich in history and tradition. Help keep that alive by making a gift to ensure the well-being of our sports programs.

VETERANS CARE PACKAGE DRIVE

Each fall, the Fullerton College Veterans Resource Center collects hundreds of items for a care package drive benefiting active duty men and women serving overseas.
