Fullerton College and President Dr. Cynthia Olivo are set to host “Vision 2030: Success with Equity, a Dual Enrollment Convening” from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024. The event, co-hosted with Fullerton Union High School, will take place across both neighboring campuses.
The convening aims to support the Vision 2030 framework and the Governor’s Equitable Roadmap for California Community Colleges, focusing on three core goals: equity in access, equity in support and equity in success. A key component of the discussions will include the 9th Grade to Baccalaureate Strategy, which seeks to increase the percentage of students graduating high school with at least 12 college units.
The day includes a welcome address by Dr. Cynthia Olivo, an educational leadership panel and remarks from several dignitaries. The event also features a faculty panel and a dual enrollment implementation workshop, as well as a presentation and tour of Fullerton College’s dual enrollment program.
Participants can register for the free event. Additional details, including parking information, to be shared following registration.
