LGBTQIA2S+ Presents: Queer Social: Movie Nite

In observance of Black History Month, the LGBTQIA2S+ Resource Program will be screening the film Rafiki (2018) in the lounge! Directed by Wanuri Kahiu and set in Kenya, the film follows the romance of Kena and Ziki as they navigate familial and political pressures. Rafiki explores intersectional themes of Black womanhood, family expectations, and sexuality. Settle into the new semester by joining us in community for movie nite! Candy, drinks, popcorn will be served.
