IMPORTANT DATES

  • Feb 12, 2026 – Deadline to Apply for Spring 2026 Graduation.
  • May 3, 2026 – Deadline for graduates to RSVP to participate in Commencement Ceremony.
  • May 11 – 22, 2026 – Graduates may purchase and pick up their cap, gown and tassel from the Fullerton College Bookstore.
  • May 29, 2026 – Commencement rehearsal for graduates starts at 10 a.m. on Sherbeck Field.
  • May 30, 2026 – Commencement Ceremony begins at 9 a.m. on Sherbeck Field.

Confirm you have met all degree requirements with a counselor. Apply for spring graduation by February 12, 2026.

2) rsvp for ceremony

Celebrate your success and RSVP to participate in the Commencement Ceremony by May 3, 2026. RSVP Coming Soon.

3) order cap and gown

Order your cap and gown and pick up your cap, gown and tassel at the Fullerton College Bookstore from May 11 – 22, 2026.

Spring 2026
Students who applied for Spring 2026 graduation by the Feb. 12, 2026 deadline.

Fall 2025 
Students who applied for graduation and were awarded a degree in Fall 2025.

Summer 2025
Students who applied for graduation and were awarded a degree in Summer 2025.

diplomas

DIPLOMA and name verification

A student does not need to attend the commencement ceremony to receive their degree or diploma. Diplomas are not distributed at the commencement ceremony.

Diplomas for Spring 2026 graduates will be mailed to the mailing address on file about 12 weeks after the term ends.

If you change your mailing address after applying for graduation, you must update your address and email through MyGateway.

CAP AND GOWN

Cap and Gown Cost

The Cost of the Cap and Gown will be $40 including sales tax and will include the required Fullerton College gown, cap and tassel. You may purchase an additional Fullerton College stole for $38 (not including sales tax).

Stoles

Stoles are worn over regalia during commencement ceremonies to show pride and honor in their academic and personal achievements. Graduates are encouraged to wear either the college-branded Fullerton College stole or one presented to you from a special program or honor society.

Special programs, honors societies, and/or culturally-relevant stoles are awarded to members of affinity programs and organizations as special recognition. Please refer to your specific program for more information.

Cords

Graduates with Honors or High Honors will be given cords during the purchase and pickup of their cap and gown from the Fullerton College Bookstore from May 11-22, 2026.

Please note: Honors/High Honors is not the same as the Honors Program. Honors and High Honors is strictly based off a student’s grade point average. The Honors Program is based off a different set of requirements.
