At Fullerton College, we know our graduates have worked hard to reach this milestone and that their journeys have been supported every step of the way by their family and friends. That’s why commencement is a celebration, not only for graduates, but also for their families.

CEREMONY INFORMATION

Location and time
The 2026 Commencement Ceremony will be held Saturday, May 30 at 9 a.m. at Sherbeck Field. Sherbeck Field will open for guests at approximately 7:45 a.m.

How many guests can come?
Graduates are welcome to invite loved ones to attend the 2026 Commencement Ceremony.

To help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, we kindly recommend that each graduate bring up to six (6) guests.

Are children allowed?
Yes.

Are animals allowed?
Only service animals are allowed to be at the commencement ceremony.

For any guests who cannot make the ceremony physically, we encourage them to join us via livestream. The livestream will be broadcasted on the main commencement site.

ACCESSIBILITY

All ceremonies will be livestreamed on the web and closed captioned.

Requests must be made two weeks in advance of commencement.

Accessible Seating

Guests with mobility challenges (e.g., wheelchair users) may utilize an accessible seating area on a first come first served basis. Signs and staff will provide direction to this seating area.

Please note: Any person with a mobility challenge can have up to one person accompany them in the accessibility seating area and a folding chair will be available.

Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Services
American Sign Language (ASL)

interpreters will be stationed near the front of the stage with seating directly in front of them. Staff members can direct you to this special seating area.

Handicapped Parking

Handicapped Parking for graduates and visitors will be available in Student Lot 4

PARKING

Parking will be free for graduates and guests on commencement day. Graduates and guest parking for the commencement ceremony will be available in all student parking lots, including the FC Parking Structure on Lemon Street and Fullerton College Drive.

In order to ensure pedestrian safety, Student Parking Lot 6 will be blocked off for the Commencement Processional and Recessional.

Handicapped Parking for graduates and visitors will be available in Student Lot 4 just west of Sherbeck Field/Track and the 1700 bldg.

All of Staff Parking Lot A and Staff Lot 8 will be blocked off and reserved all day for VIP Guests attending the Commencement Ceremony.

Staff are encouraged to park in Staff Lot C East, Staff Lot C West, Staff Lot B2 East, and Staff Lot E.

RESTROOMS

Restrooms will be available in Building 1700 and Building 1400.
