Message from the President
At Fullerton College, our commitment to Black Excellence is not confined to one month —we celebrate, uplift, and support our Black Students, Staff, Faculty, and Administrators 365 days a year. Ensuring that every member of our Black community feels a strong sense of belonging is at the heart of everything we do.
We also acknowledge that racial discrimination persists and continues to impact Black communities across the nation. You are not alone—we do not tolerate this injustice and are here to support you.
We proudly have a goal to become an official Black-Serving Institution under SB 1348, a designation that will further solidify our commitment to equity, access, and student success. Right now, we are just 499 Black students away from achieving this milestone to become a BSI. This goal speaks to our ongoing dedication to expand opportunities, increase representation, and foster a campus culture where Black Excellence thrives.
As you can see, we are all about Black Excellence 365. For us the celebration and spirit in Black History Month is felt all year long. Let’s continue to grow, celebrate, and uplift Black Excellence today and every day!
