Facility Rentals

External facilities rentals  

To use our facilities as an external party, please consider the following items:  

  1. Insurance Requirements – We will need a certificate of insurance, naming NOCCCD as insured for minimum of $1 million, per incident/$3 million aggregate and additional insured endorsement. Insurance will need to be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance of the first date. The facility user acknowledges:

    All users agree by their signature below to hold the North Orange County Community College District, its governing board and the individual members thereof and all district officers, agents, employees and volunteers free and hold harmless from any loss, damage, liability or expense that may arise out of, or in any way be connected with the use of facilities or this agreement including non-availability of the facility due to ‘acts of god,’ rolling power blackouts or other causes beyond the control of the District. However, this waiver does not pertain to losses or injury that are the result of the sole negligence of the District. Facility user shall procure and maintain general liability insurance with limits acceptable to the district, such insurance shall name the District, its Board, officers, employees and agents as additional insured.” See Certificate of Insurance example.
     
  2. Proof of Nonprofit Status – You will need to supply a copy of the Internal Revenue Service Letter of proof of nonprofit status, 501(c)(3) letter in order to be considered under the nonprofit pricing plan.
  3. If renting sports facilities, please fill out the PE pre-approval form.
  4. Full payment will need to be made at least 5 business days in advance of the first date of usage.
  5. Food trucks are not allowed on our premises.
  6. Alcohol is not allowed on the premises at all times.
  7. No drones are allowed on premises.
  8. No signs or banners are to be posted or hung on any campus fence. Free standing A-Frames or PVC pipe frames are permissible.

    Rental Rates

    The availability of facilities to rent is contingent on staffing levels. Staff support is limited on weekends.

    CUSTODIAL FEES

    • 35-100 attendees: $50 per hour
    • 101-500 attendees: $75 per hour
    • 501-1000 attendees: $100 per hour
    • 1001-2000 attendees: $150 per hour
    • 2001+ attendees: $200 per hour

    The fees cover overtime labor and additional supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap) that would normally not be part of the standard Saturday or Sunday operations, or an oversized rental event during the week.

    PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS

    *Supervisor Fee $40/hr/over 5 hrs. $250/day
    Pool Lifeguard Fee $12 hr (3 hr. min.)

    SCOREBOARDS

    Scoreboard $300
    Scoreboard Operator $20/hr (3 hr. min.) $250 over 5 hrs.

    TABLING ON CAMPUS

    Fullerton College allows members of the community to table on campus. We ask that you contact Campus Communications at 714-992-7013 to confirm what day and time you plan to be on campus. When tabling, you must adhere to the following:  

    1. Must supply own table, chairs, and canopy. 
    2. Must stay off pathways. 
    3. Must be at least 10 feet from any exit or entrance. 
    4. They are not allowed to sell. 
    5. They are not allowed to collect student information. They may hand out flyers with info. 
    6. If a campus event is scheduled, we may have to have them move to another location.
